Too many 🎨 Artists

I'll make this brief..

Saatchi art website has over 2 million works of art for sale. There are thousands of commercial galleries in the world. Theare hundreds if not thousands of art schools around the world turning out hundreds, if not thousands of freshly minted, diploma in hand artists. There has been discussion that perhaps there are too many artists.

The fine art market is small. The supply greatly outnumbers the demand. 

And this is the issue. The demand could be much larger. Art is not marketed, developed as it could be. And no way can it be advertised like a Louis Vuitton bag. 

Government perhaps can support the art market via an agency of some sort but bottom line there aren't too many artists there's too few buyers
